The Third Lausanne Congress On World Evangelization

Yesterday, I received a formal invitation to attend the The Third Lausanne Congress On World Evangelization. in Cape Town in October 2010.

Cape Town 2010, held in collaboration with the World Evangelical Alliance, will bring together 4,000 leaders from more than 200 countries to confront the critical issues of our time – other world faiths, poverty, HIV/AIDS, persecution, among others - as they relate to the future of the Church and world evangelization. Thousands more leaders will participate in the discussion on the issues through the Lausanne Global Conversation and at remote Congress sites through the Cape Town GlobaLink. I feel really privileged to have received such an invitation, and to be one of the representatives of the Church in Scotland sharing in this event.
