The plans for our Journey to Bethlehem are continuing to progress. Only 8 days to go! There is a huge amount of work going on in the background. Tomorrow evening we are going to leaflet the whole community.Hopefully all the pieces will fall into place at the right time. I've just been reading about a similar venture in Christchurch, New Zealand. They have the advantage of a warm summer climate for Christmas which makes quite a difference. One of the aspects of this work which has been most exciting is the way it has energised and engaged many people who often seem untouched or turned off by the mainstream activities of a church. I believe these signs are an encouragement for us to do more in this realm at different points throughout the year.
