When I moved to my new office last year, I gave away over half of all my books. About 15 years ago, I was given a set of books by Amy Carmichael. I've never read them, but I had a sense that I would, so I kept them. Over the last few days I have been reading various excerpts from Carmichael in Celtic Daily prayer, which is leading me think that I may be reaching for one of these books sooner rather than later!
"As the ripples of the river glance up to the light, let your heart glance up to Me in little looks of love very often through the day."
