I said in an earlier post that we are experiencing significant changes in terms of leadership at Hilton Church. From my perspective, we have been been blessed beyond imagining by people who have come to Hilton for a time, and I think it's very positive that a number of people are now moving on to exercise leadership in new areas. Hopefully some of the experiences they have had at Hilton will be helpful to them in the future. Here's another major change on the the horizon: "The congregations of Kilarrow linked with Kildalton and Oa have elected Dr. Robert Barlow to be their minister, and subject to Presbytery approval there will be an ordination and induction hopefully in January."
We offer our warmest congratulations to Rob who has been such a blessing to us at Hilton, but of course, it means that we will be losing Gwen from the Lighthouse. Gwen will be leaving us at the end of this year. Please pray for us at the Lighthouse as we seek to work out the best way forward for the future.
