street pastors

Inverness Street Pastors are in our fourth year of "listening, caring and helping" on the streets of Inverness City Centre, Merkinch and Hilton. Our team of 45 volunteers from 15 different churches of all denominations are having an amazing time on the streets, consistently loving our neighbours, demonstrating Jesus, enjoying fun and fellowship with one another, and winning the favour of our city - so much so that we are continuously asked by local authorities to increase the service. We are now looking for more volunteers to work in the evenings (approx 7pm to 11pm) or night-time (approx 9:30pm to 3:30am). Would you like to become a part of this exciting movement that is sweeping across Scotland? Are you ...?... over 18?... a member of a local church?... willing to give either 12 evenings or 12 nights each year?... able to complete 12 days of training spread over 18 months? [1]... willing to take on an exciting challenge and grow in the greatest commandment that Jesus gave us: to love Him with everything we have, and to love our neighbour as ourself?
