The Lighthouse and the Church were completely cut off yesterday afternoon for a time. An armed Police team with 10 Police cars closed off the street and raided one of the houses. The report is here in the P&J. I had actually just left the church with the cortege for Mary Nairne's funeral, so missed all the excitement. Just minutes before the raid, there were a couple of hundred people standing in the church garden just opposite the house that was raided!
