For a variety of reasons, I haven't had much space for visits to the theatre or cinema recently. I've still to see The Kings Speech! Last night, I went to see Death of a Salesman at Eden Court. Go and see it, if you can. I went with my 16 year old son, and the play gave us plenty to talk about on the way home. A key feature in the film centres around Willie Loman's failure to be a good father to his two sons. His influence in their lives has a profounding damaging impact on their ability to live life well as they grow into adulthood. A salutory play for all fathers.
