This article about British foreign aid and religious persecution highlights the challenge of being a Christian in many Islamic countries of the world. The blasphemy law in Pakistan is little short of a licence to persecute Christians. I'm glad the Cardinal has highlighted this reality at a level where the politicians, both here and in Pakistan, can actually be challenged to do something about it.
