Jonathan Fraser, our youth minister, is involved in a remarkable project at the moment. He is reading the bible in a year, along with a considerable group of people linked to the congregation, many of them youth. On a daily basis he is writing a commentary on each passage. In years to come, as well as Barclay and Tom Wright, I think we may well be turning to Fraser's commentaries to give us light on Scripture. The year began on 1st September. Very encouraging and down to earth. More like a chat about the Scripture than a sermon which gives it a really nice feeling. Keep up the good work!!
Jonathan Makes it all very clear so that all levels of intellect can "get it." It is a lot of work for him and he deserves lots of thanks from all his readers.
I particularly like the use of modern language and expressions to explain things to young people.
