Jonathan and I had a wonderful time this morning sharing in a homegroup which has a significant number of the maturer members of our fellowship in it. (their words not mine!). It was the final gathering before Christmas so there was a great spread of food together with muld wine (non alcoholic!). The group was beginning a study on James this morning, so a little time was spent thinking about the background to this remarkable letter. Groups like this are the ideal vehicle for pastoral care and support within a church. It was a privilege to witness the deep sense of care for one another within the group as well as a great deal of laughter and fun. Thank you to Brian and Marea Gunn for being such great hosts.
