Community is one of the buzz words in our culture. A fascinating report which you can read about here, highlights the lack of it in the UK today. According to a Professor Dorling "Even the weakest communities in 1971 were stronger than any community now." We plan to do a community needs assessment in early 2009. It will be helpful to our work to more clearly identify the key needs within our area.
