THIS SUNDAY

Twenty years on from the fall of an oppressive communist regime, the people of Romania still face many challenges day-to-day with extreme poverty and unemployment, cultural prejudice, and disability discrimination is rife. The Romanian church also faces challenges in terms of its teaching and thinking being influenced by the cultural ideas of the past. Carpathian Aid is one of the many small charities who have been working in Romania since the early nineties.
Please come along after the morning service THIS COMING Sunday 3rd October when I'll be sharing some of my experiences from my recent trip with the charity to visit and work with people who are reaching out to Romania's poorest in the name of Jesus and making a valuable difference to their quality of life. If you can bring a sandwich, I'll provide the coffee and cake. We'll hopefully begin around 11:45am. Looking forward to sharing with you!!
