This morning we are offering the parents of the children in P1-5 a choice - you can share in the worship here in the sanctuary or you are welcome to join with your children in the large hall, where we will be watching Finding Nemo, finding lost coins and generally trying to celebrate Gods love for each one of us.
It's my first Sunday leading Sunday Club. It's much harder work preparing for Sunday club compared to an ordinary Sunday service! There is a much greater focus on interactivity and a variety of different learning experiences, compared to a sermon. I also want to give the parents an opportunity to share in the experience too as per notice above. I'm not sure how well this will work, but the intention is to get parents and children engaging with the Bible together. If it works, it must surely be a good thing.
