Highlanders 'feel they must go'

Here's an interesting study commissioned by HIE. A spokesman commented that "we have, in proportion to the Scottish average, 25% fewer people aged 15 to 30." Like many congregations in the Highlands, we are at a time of year, when we see some of our youth moving away for further education and employment. It will be interesting to see what impact a new campus in Inverness for the University of the Highlands will have on this demographic deficit.
