From Sunday, 30th October, we are going to be experimenting with a new format on Sunday evenings. We hope to have the Lighthouse open as a base for folk to hang out together, and alongside that, we will be offering a number of different options. Here is one which Jamie Grant is going to lead:Reading and understanding the Bible can be a real challenge! It’s so long and it all happened so long ago!! And besides, how does it all fit together?
Over seven weeks our aim is to demystify the Bible and make it fun to read with the help of the Soul Survivor crew. Using Andy Croft and Mike Pilavachi’s book Storylines: Your Map to Understanding the Bible as the basis for our discussion. We will look at six of the Bible’s main themes – Jesus, Covenant, Presence, Kingdom, Salvation, Worship – to see how these key ideas help us make sense of the whole book.
