And so another election day dawns. I can remember watching the people flooding into Hilton Church to vote in 1997 when Tony Blair became Prime Minister. I recall being in Queensland, Australia when John Major was surprisingly elected in 1992, and I even remember sitting my French O Level the day Margaret Thatcher was elected in 1979. It was snowing! I can also remember Heath and Wilson being elected in the 1970's.I wonder what the outcome will be today. Personally, I like GadgetVicar's take on it.
