It's 12 hours each way on the KLM flight to Lima from Amsterdam. A good time to catch up with some new films on the inflight entertainment screens. I saw several good films, but the outstanding one was Departures which is actually showing this week at Eden Court. This Japanese film with english subtitles centres around the Japanese ritual of preparing bodies for encoffining! It sounds totally bizarre, but it's a wonderful and amusing story with a sublime sound track.
