We laid concrete at the back of the Lighthouse 18 months ago. Unfortunately it hasn't stood up very well to the frost, and it gathers water into puddles at various points. It also doesn't look very pleasing to the eye, especially when it will be open to the public in the near future. We have therefore decided to pave the area from the edge of the extension out to the garden paths. It should look good when it's all finished. Today, the focus has been on removing the old concrete. It has been a pretty noisey affair!
